Speaker at Sarikei Camp
I was in Sarikei on Saturday (20/11) to teach about 40 students from 3 secondary schools who were attending the ISCF Leavers Bible Camp, a 9 day youth camp organized by Pastor Wong of SIB Bandar Sarikei. On Sunday I preached at the SIB Bandar Sarikei English and BM service. In the afternoon I began teaching on Ephesians and for the next two days also covered 1 and 2 Peter. It was encouraging to see young people interested in studying the books of the Bible and I learnt a lot just by teaching these books: Ephesians with its revelation that we are God's new people and the call to live holy lives, 1 Peter on sufferings and living holy and 2 Peter on false teachings and the return of Christ! The lessons were taught in Bahasa Malaysia.
