“Nay. Do not. Such things are better left forgotten. Too much thinking on such things could lead to madness.” The knight sighed. Thoughts of sleep, just to be haunted once more by such horrors, seemed terrifying. Such visions were unnatural.
“Very well. If there is nothing else, my—“ Lavian had began to bow, but the knight interrupted his self-dismissal.
“Would you stay beside me, Lavian, tonight, and if I were to have such dark dreams again, would you wake me and…” Eladrial almost chuckled as he completed his request “be my hero?”
Lavian glanced back at Eladrial with a bemused smile.
It's like blah blah blah knight medieval nightmares, blah...CUE THE GAY PORN MUSIC. (I've never watched gay porn.)
Sigh. I just thought you'd all like to know I'm not writing a gay pederastic romance. The offending proposition will be removed from this exchange. LAFF AT ME.
You see, the problem with Eladrial, is that he's not a character. He pretty much has no personality, nothing interesting or deep about him...and that's the point of him. For the most part he stays within his archetypical role. It's difficult to write more than one flat character in a story.
