    Current mood: blah

Haha, didja notice the name change? *points to top of journal*

There's a story behind that. We were driving to Skate Factory, and David asked Dad what his reaction would be if he wanted to take me to a concert, and Dad said he didn't know and it depends where, when, who and how, and for which band, David answered, "I know, I'll take her to see my Dad's band," and Dad said, "He plays in a band?", and David said, "Yeah," and Dad asked, "Does his band have a name?", and David said, "Not specifically. They keep changing it," and I thought, "Hey, 'Not Specifically' would actually be a cool band name. Too bad I can't sing or play an instrument, and I write poems instead of songs."

So, yeah, it stuck in my head. So now I have a place to put it.

Anyways. Yesterday actually went well [gasp!]. Mainly because we only kissed when Dad wasn't looking and when we dropped David off afterwards...and when we stayed in the car while Dad went into Eckerds and Shop Rite. But yeah, it was fun. We played air hockey twice, I won both times. ^-^ They didn't do the hula hoop contest. I hate them. They did everything BUT the hula hoop contest.

Two kids [teens, probably close to my age] asked if David and I were related or twins [WTF?!]. I think they were mainly just doing it to be stupid, though. They had an odd reaction while David and I went over to sit at a table by theirs, so I guessed that they might be a problem. Oh well.

They had the couples' skate. It was fun. First time I've gotten to do that, and the same for David. ^-^

I have a boo-boo on my tongue. Y'know, a fudged up taste bud that hurts a lot.

Hm. We went shopping today. Mainly because Josh and I had giftcards to spend. Josh got the Shrek 2 game for GameCube from Best Buy [did I mention that he got a GameCube for X-mas?] and I got a manga that I've never even heard of or seen [it was alright. it was funny, but it's not one of my favorites]. Then we went to Spencer's because I had a $20 giftcard...I got a cheap little pocket knife [$4...but it's better than nothing, and it looks cool], and spent the rest on buying a Valentine's Day present for David [don't tell him--it's a ring, with a pentogram on it. I think he'll like it. ^-^]. Aaand then we ate, and then we went to this other store and I ended up getting even more V-Day presents for David. I got these heart-shaped lolly pops on long plastic sticks, and a little wallet cards. This's what it says on it:

    "I Will Love You...
As long as I can dream,
as long as I can think,
as long as I have a memory...
    I will love you.
As long as I have eyes to see
    and ears to hear
    and lips to speak...
    I will love you.
As long as there is time,
as long as there is love,
as long as there is you...
    I will love you."

At the end it has who it was written by [Daniel Haughian], and on the back it has a space for me to fill out the "To" and "From." I like it...the poem's nice, and the picture and colors are pretty. Wow, I sound like I got high off dasies or something...

All of the following were paid for by Mom:

I also got a Kikyo figure for Amanda [late X-Mas/Yule present], because I felt bad because she had a bad day the day before vacation and didn't really have a great holiday. I got Teri a Zim shirt as a late X-Mas present, because she sent me stuff and I felt guilty for not getting her anything. Aaand Macy's had flannel shirts on sale, so I picked out one that I thought David would like. It's a lot like the other one he has, but a bit lighter...Still blue, though, and it's nice. We delivered David and Amanda's presents a little while after we got home from the mall, and they both liked them [David took off all the packaging and pins so he could try the shirt on before I left. He likes it. ^-^].

Oh, Dannie, I'm sorry, but I dunno if our plans for a sleepover tomorrow will work out...Dad suggested that him and I [and maybe Josh] go night skiing from 4-10, so I wouldn't be home till around 10:30...and I dunno how much in favor mom is of having people over, because she thinks it's more of a "family thing" [even though we barely do anything family-oriented besides watch the ball drop]. So, yeah. I'll probably call you tomorrow, once we figure everything out.

I wanted Mom to buy new boxers for me to give to David, since a pair of his ripped and Amanda hasn't fixed them yet. She wouldn't. I tried to half-convince her by reminding her that my aunt Pat [her sister] bought her daughter's husband underwear for X-mas [he apparently loves getting new undies]...But Mom just said, "Yeah, but he's a member of their family. David's not a member of the family." Haha, then I said, "Yet..." and Mom didn't respond...God, she must be dreading the thought of me growing up and getting married and moving out and all that.

    Wow, I wrote a lot.

Okay, I'm off to force Josh to try out a new card game with me.

    Ja ne.
