abort, retry, program remote
Wow.
DirecTV updates their software at random times in the wee hours of the morning once every couple of months or so, and if you happen to be unlucky enough to be awake during that time, watching TV, and then decide to do something on the remote that might interfere with that software update (like turn it off, for example), you have to call DirecTV to manually send the re-authorization code for your satellite receiver.
Guess that means I know how late Mom was up last night...
