It's sad when I don't remember what I get for these things.
Who knew my mouth was so resistant to anesthesia? I woke up today around 8 AM, got ready, picked up food and caffeine, then was dropped off at the dental school. I was late only because Mum and I got stuck behind a really slow driver. Step on the gas or get off the road, douchebag. -_- So, after getting settled in the dental cubicle, I put in one of my ear buds, and listened to music as the dental student (Olgun) prepped his area. Little did I know I was about to get jabbed (gently, of course) with a needle eight times. The tooth Olgun kept trying to drill sent a stab of pain to my mouth, and I had to raise my hand three times to stop his work. Finally, after far too many injections for a single tooth, the area went numb, and Olgun was able to repair my filling.
It took three hours, but that’s as per usual. I left with the left side of my mouth completely numb, and Mum and I went on to Wal-Mart where she left to go to her contact appointment. I wandered around, finding some fruit Jello to eat since the left side of my mouth is off limits in regards to chewing. I also found some garlic mushroom soup (super yummy; worth the bad breath). Mum found me about 30 minutes later, and we went home where I waited around for an hour, Da using the main computer far too long. I knew I had that Sony Bloggie forum to do so that was the first thing I pulled up after Da and Mum went off to drop Umi-chan at work. It turns out there’s only a set amount of questions posted each week so I got the nine done, and won’t have to go back for another week depending on whether the moderator responds to my posts.
With that done, I’ve just been wasting time with Sims Social. Once the numb feeling left my mouth, my tooth started aching like hell so I’ve taken a pain killer, and will baby that side of my mouth until it doesn’t hurt anymore. Not much has been going on lately beyond the usual watching DVDs on my watch pile, reading, and random errands here and there. I’d be bored, but I like doing stuff like that. All I know is I’m going to be tired as hell later on since I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night. I hate early morning appointments. Why can't I have the afternoon ones? Bleh, off to read for a bit…
