    new member/album list
First things first, I'm Sasha. My friend Lucey told me about this community. Sounds like my kind of thing, so Hello everybody. Now, for my favorite album list:

    5. Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream
My favorite of the Pumpkins albums, and I like them all. BCorgan had to play alot of the instruments on this album, something that I didn't know until recently, because D'Arcy and James Iha were constantly fighting and Jimmy Chamberlin was too fucked up to play alot of the time. But you can totally feel the tension in the album, it was a good result. Corgan's disfunctional love in the album is amazing. "Cherub Rock" and "Geek USA" are my two favorite songs on it.

    4. Ween, Chocolate and Cheese
I had to put either a Ween album, or They Might Be Giants on my list, and this is my favorite of them all. Whenever I feel down I can listen to Ween, because it'll either have me smiling, laughing, or realizing that my problems aren't that bad. I mean, at least I don't have "Spinal Meningitis (Got me Down)".

    3. Poe, Hello
I like this album because it surprises me so much. From one song to the next, if it's your first time hearing it you don't know what your going to get because there are so many different influences. Up-tempo to mellow tunes, it really a very well rounded album, and something I've been listening to for about 5 years now.

    2. Oasis, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Trying too hard to be like the Beatles? Maybe. Probably. But I still love this album. Liam Gallagher has a very interesting voice. I could listen to him sing all day. It was a toss-up between this and Definately Maybe, but I went with this one because of the amazing amount of catchy ass tunes this has. I can sing word for word every song on the album. (and I probably sound like a teeny-bopper now!)

    1. Radiohead, OK Computer
Definately one of my favorites. The first time I heard it I thought it would be a great soundtrack for a dream. This album is masterpiece after masterpiece. I think this album made put them over the top for band of the late 90's for me. I've gone thru 3 copies. I can't seem to hold onto it. I'll lose it, and instinctively go out and buy it again the next day.

*Not in any order. By the way, just wanted to say hello to everyone, and I look forward to reading what everyone has to say!
