Sundance
So here I sit in Park City in the middle of the Sundance/Slamdance film festival. My alarm went off at 4:05 AM this morning and I've been in Park City ever since. Our morning show is broadcasting live from the Slamdance festival and I've just been sitting here chilling, surfing the net on my laptop and basically doing nothing. I hate getting up at 4 AM because it basically ruins my day, I never seem to fully wake up and I feel tired and groggy all day. I also hate trying to get to bed the night before. Luckily last night Mckell basically talked me to sleep and I actually got a few hours of sleep, which is rare for me when I do these things. It's strange how different TV makes these events seem. I always see stuff on Sundance on E! or Entertainment Tonight and you'd think it was a giant non-stop Hollywood party up here, but when you get up here and experience it for yourself, all you seem to notice is huge crowds, shitty cell phone service, tons of traffic and a million places you can't get into because their invite only. Apparently Paris Hilton and Nichole Richie are here, but you'd never know being up here. Things seem busy, but generally quiet and there's definately not stars everywhere you look. I guess everything happens behind closed doors.
