Sundance Sucks
So I'm currently sitting off Main Street in Park City on one of the busiest weekends this town ever sees, the opening weekend of the Sundance Film Festival, and it is unbelieveable. I have to set up some equiptment for a live broadcast we are doing this Monday morning at a little hotel called the Treasure Mountain Inn... Oh shit, hang on, parking!
Woo hoo! I just got a spot! I'm probably still illigally parked but there is no other options. This town is crazy right now. I've been trying to call our contact up here for the past 10 minutes, but ever time you try to dial out on the cell phone, it just gives you a "system busy" message, meaning there must be a million people on their cell phones up here right now. It also took about an hour just to get here, every road is jam packed with cars moving at about 4 MPH, taking their time and enjoying the sites. Luckily behind the hotel here I found a wireless access point so I figured while I was waiting for our contact to call me back, I would type a quick little something.
Either way, she's not calling so I guess I have to go search for her now. Park City is crazy right now...
