Romance
Romance is a concept that seems to have been sidelined by society. But it is alive and well in the D/s lifestyle, just not perhaps in shapes that most would understand. In the Romance of Mastery and Submission, a formal dance begins. Protocols are created and followed. Honor is shaped and allowed to grow, respect is earned, and a structure develops to allow each to become their best.

This is not the romance of fluffy teddy bears and red roses (though those can have their place.)

This is the romance of measured patience, a weighty glance, a dance between supplicant and Divine.
