Braaaiiiinsssss!!! ... No, really. Anyone seen mine?
So I decided to resurrect this thing. I'm not sure how long I can keep it alive, but I do promise at least a twitch every year or two. I haven't decided whether or not to just recreate the sidebar graphic or make an entirely new scheme. I still kinda like Strange Days, as well as that line.

It's funny, I'm still pretty obsessed over the same things. Lupin? Yeah, especially after seeing the movie. Legolas? Oh God yes. I never really had whole lot of respect for Orli as an actor, but then I found out that he's a pop culture recluse (like meeee!!!) and a Buddhist (uh...not like me. But cool anyway.) and my respect for him as a person just skyrocketed.

You can add a few more on there now, of course. Have to give absolute love to Descartes for sparking my interest in philosophy and to Voltaire for just being so goddamned funny. Seriously, I had no idea Candide read like The Onion. More adoration going to the French language for making me sound snooty, and TONS to a host of French music artists who give me something to blast in my car each time I see one of those "Boycott France" bumper stickers. I'll never forget the time one of France's former presidents (whose name I can't for the life of me remember...blame my American narrowmindedness) was on C-Span when one of those idiotic "OMG BOYCOT TEH INGRATEFUL PANZEES!!!!1" people called. His response was more or less along the lines of, "Oh well, you're not doing us any harm, so whatever. Take your crappy American cheese and 'freedom fries' and go elsewhere." *heart*

Really thinking of a philosophy major this fall. I'm leaning towards either philo or history. Of course, if I keep procrastinating on enrollment, I'll wind up taking whatever crap is left.
