As promised...
To begin, Happy New Years, everyone! I hope you all had a great day! I spent mine watching An American Werewolf in London and downloading music. Oh, how I need DSL. -whines- "Werewolf" was a pretty good movie. The SFX were amazing, given that it was made in 1981. I absolutely loved the transformation scene. I hated the ending, tho. It just sort of ends, without wrapping up loose ends at all. And why take the time of the whole movie to introduce us to the main character only to kill him off in the end. I don't get it. They can't find some way of controlling him while he's changed? They gotta just kill him off? Granted, he's not too bright. I mean, if I knew I was a werewolf and that there was a full moon tonight, I wouldn't just sit in a porno theatre waiting for the moon to come out. I would try to find some way to restrain myself, or to get out into the wilderness instead of hanging around in metro London. Not a lot of foresight there. Anyway, now I want to watch "An American Werewolf in Paris" to see where the story picks up.
In other news, I've finally gotten my first webdesign job, after deciding long ago that web work was not for me. Jim wants me to update the Special Delivery site. And maybe, if I can talk him into it, I'll be able to put a new design in there because that one is just horrible. The green makes me want to puke, and I don't know what the guy was thinking by putting that horrid Michigan/map/landmass thing in there. I'd like to redo the logo, but I know I'd be pusing my luck there. To me, it just looks like some cheap piece of clip-art. Which I thought it was, until Jim or someone told me that the company actually paid money to have that designed for them.
