A little insight into the madness
Look at the Dec. 15 entry again to see the two month old pictures of the monkey now updated without red eyes thanks to my brother in law Jared and his photoshop prowess.
I haven't seen this week's episode of the Amazing Race yet but let me just say about last week-- IT TOTALLY SUCKS that the old folks came in last and deserved to be eliminated and then Phil has to go and say it's a non-elimination round. The old people are so dumb and I am starting to hate them because they think they are so smart and that they have just had bad luck when in fact they have had incredibly good luck. Also Race related I learned that Hayden, the mean "actor" is 4 degrees from me: Mom-Lisa from work-cousin-cousin.
So I was talking to Mom on Sunday as I usually do and I mention to her that I think Elena is a midget after the mother-in-law who came into town on Sunday said she was tiny and none of her 9 kids were that small at 2 months. Her (mom's) response: "oh, well, we do have some little people in our family, like Christine, who is 4'10 or something," so I say my theory about little people starting out as regular sized babies and she says, yeah maybe and then I say so you think she might be a midget too and she says, (imagine minnesota accent) "oh, no, just maybe little." The important lesson from this conversation is SHE DOESN'T THINK IT'S WEIRD THAT I AM AFRAID MY DAUGHTER IS A MIDGET. Even though it's my fear, at least I can recognize it's insane.
