    HR- first day
well this is my second week as a temp, but my first day in HR. i wasnt sure what i was going to be doing. well it turns out i am there to file. yup, yup, i walked in and was told see all those files, those need to go in those cabinets in, condense the duplicates into one file. (i swear there are three hundred and thirty three thousand files that need to be filed) all i can say is that they are lucky, that i am anal about files and that i have teh experience to know that you cant just file stuff, you have to double check info. i was fixing things that needed to be fixed i.e: files that werent in alpha order, files that had misspelled names on the folder, making sure that each of the robert williams had the correct papers,(ya know like robert w. papers and robert e. papers werent mixed together) so needless to say i didnt get that far into the stack. i was explaining to the supervisor what i was running across. she and one of the other lady's were all "thank you so much, for taking the time to check everything, most people would have just put in the drawers and not worried about it" about a 3rd of the files are duplicate files. it's a mess back there. when i handed them the stack of duplicates i was told "i knew we had a problem, i just didnt realize it was this bad"
