Residents of a little Austrian village almost changed it's name after having it's roadsigns pilfered frequently, Lianhe Wanbao reported yesterday. The vilage is called F**king. It was named after a gentleman who's surname was F**k who lived there 100 years ago with his family. The "ing" suffix means "village". The villagers were not aware of it's English connotation until WWII when the allied forces pointed fingers and guffawed whenever they passed its road sign. According to a village spokesman after much debate recently, the name was kept. Post a comment in response: |
