Tired and pissed beyond redemption
*sighs* the day strated out to be a dissapointment. We have INTACT today, meaning we have to go to school in order for us to go to our area. They said that we would meet at 7 am. So I alarmed my phone at 5 am last night so I could be prepared. The thing is, my facilitator changed the schedule from 7 am to 6 am. So my mom had to wake me up because someone texted my dad' s number saying that the schedule was moved.
So ok, fine by me. They always do that here in the Philippines anyway. What irritates me the most is that i arrived at school at 5:45 am while the facilitators and teh head arived before 7. Can you believe it? They are so un professional. So ok. we left school at arround 7:30 and travelled to Las Pinas. But here' s the catch. We were riding a jeepney. A jeepney all the way to Las Pinas. Thus all the smoke and pollution coming from the exhausts of the vehicles we pass by are inhaled into our lungs and absorped by our skin
Yeah it was fun because throughout that 1 and a half hour trip my blockmates were singing like crazy. They were fun to be with so in a short time your irritation and bitchiness vanished. But there' s a glitch. We got lost
We stopped at SM South so we cold stretch our legs. It was pretty necessary considering 18 of us were packe din one jeepney, not counting the people infront. But then when we were about to leave, the driver of the jeep was missing. So we were the only ones left in the parking lot. And guess what! he didn' t know where the place was located. So we drove arround in circles until finally we were able to reach the place
It wasnt something I thought the Habitat for Humanity would look like. I mean I thought it was a big place, a wide and open space. but when we got there, we were cramped into this location. Sure it was nice that we were able to have the chance to build a home for people who cannot afford it, but my god I didn' t know it was that hard
It was today that the sun decided to show itself after roughly 3 days of hibernation. So naturally it was hot. And just our luck, we had to work under the sun inorder to pass and carry the materials. And the materials were hollow blocks and sacks of concrete. Oh my aching back. Then my system couldn' t hand;e it any longer. My hands began to shake so hard and my face was flushed scarlet. I caouldn' t breath properly. So the logical assumption is I'm having asthma attacks.
But fortunately we were about to go when all of these things happened to me. So that was my day. Gosh...I hope I could survive another like it
