    elections
The elections here in the Philippines is next week already, and I'm having a hard time in deciding whou I would pick as incoming leaders for our future. It' s just that they' re fighting among themselves, acting like children who have been deprived of the candy they craved. Would you vote a person who has no background in politics, who didn' t finish his education as president? Would you vote a basketball player, an actor as one of your senators? Would you vote a person who turned against her pinciples and joined the opposition as your vice president?

It' s so hard to choose. It' s as though whatever you choose, it would just pull the country and its econmuy further bellow the poverty line. Before we were the 2nd best country in Asia, now we' re the second worst. They are just thinking about themselves, their gains and how they could generate publicity and money. They are not thinking about us, the citizens, the people whom they would serve. Maybe they believe that it is the comon people who would serve them and not the other way arround

Also the masa, or those people who are in poverty, hold the decision because they are the majority. Yet what do they know? They just beleive anything that would be given unto them, showed unto them. They are easily blinded by money because of their status in life so they really don' t care what happens to the country as long as they could be relieved from their problems even for a short while. They do not care that their decision could affect the country for the long run
