    they see the light!
    well even though this is only true for the USA for now, hopefully it'll spill over to the rest of the world. what am i talking about? cellular phone number mobility. now you can switch from one provider to another and retain your old number!

    Cellphone companies give up, accept number portability #

    Finally accepting that number portability is going to happen and that there's nothing they can do about it, the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (the trade group representing the cellphone industry) says it's giving up and isn't going to fight the measure in court or try to get Congress to overturn it.
