    Fur or Faux?
That is thy question. Ok, so the question is a little cheesy and most people don't even ask that question this time of year, but now I'm asking it. Fur or Faux?! So, what do you choose? Pick one, will you? Just do it. Why? Because I said to. What if you don't want to? Well, think about this then, there are hundreds and maybe even thousands of animals that aren't asked that question. They don't get to choose whether you wear faux or fur. What if they did? What would they choose? Well, I'm pretty sure ALL of them would say faux. Why? Because unlike wool fur doesn't just come off the animals. The animals have to be killed. Yes, even in this dayn' age people are still wearing real fur and animals are still being killed for it. What does that have to do with anything? Well, this Christmas and Winter season many people will be buying real fur coats, not made of faux. So, if it takes about 30 rabbits to make one fur coat and there are thousands of people around the world buying a fur coat, one each...well you do the math on that one. Yes, it is possible that thousands of people will be buying a fur coat this season of the year. Yes that means at least 30,000 rabbits could be giving their lives because those people simply couldn't HANDLE wearing faux, because God forbid they would look cheap in it. You know, I'm not going to lie. Real fur does make jackets and coats look incredibly nice, BUT animals have to give their life for it. I have faux fur on some of my clothes and yes when you wash it, it doesn't come out the same as real fur, but I at least can be comfortable knowing that it didn't cost an animal it's life.
Ok, so faux doesn't look good with everything. In fact, faux wood looks cheap and other things that a faux simply look ugly, but faux fur has a different effect. It doesn't look cheap if you know how to wear it and it even saves you money! Can you believe it? IT SAVES MONEY not just an animal's life! Yes, folks that's right! I said it! You can save money and spare an animal's life. So, back to the question this whole thing is about. Fur or Faux? Well, now that you've read this the answer should be pretty simple shouldn't it? Save money and an animal's life, GO FAUX!
Until next time, God Bless! -Olivia
