As we all know Tiffany & Co is the world top jewelry with a long history. The Company operates in three segments: Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe. Americas includes sales in TIFFANY & CO. stores in the United States, Canada and Latin/South America, as well as sales of TIFFANY & CO. products in certain of those markets through business-to-business, Internet, catalog and wholesale operations. Asia-Pacific includes sales in TIFFANY & CO. stores in the Asia-Pacific region. Europe includes sales in TIFFANY & CO. stores in Europe, as well as sales of TIFFANY & CO. products. The main business scope is jewelry. To enlarge the company business scope, Tiffany announced on Tuesday it is moving into eyewear through a 10-year license agreement with Luxottica, the global leader in eyewear. The first collections under the Tiffany brand, which already sells jewellery, timepieces, tableware and accessories, are expected early 2008. After the initial launch period and once distribution has broadened over time to most markets and channels, Luxottica Group expects the line to generate revenues of at least 50 euro million per year.
