Weekend update
Last weekend was great. Although I couldn't see Adam as soon as I would have liked (papers and programs to write) we spent some time together. We ate at Firehouse, man I love their subs, and then we walked around the mall. I was hoping that Victoria Secret was going to start their semi annual sale that weekend but it started on Monday :(. We went in all the clothes stores but I don't have any money so I didn't buy anything. We always go into the limited too to check out all the neopets plushies. I sooo want the striped jubjub it was so plush. Adam started mentioning that maybe we should try the card game just so we have another thing to do together. But it cost too much at the mall so we went to target and bought it. We walked around target for an hour or so. I love the items they have to decorate with. We went downtown and watched people go into the Modjeska because they where having their PJ party. I kinda wanted to go but then I didn’t want to be around a buncha hoochis in their underwear. We might go to next years and wear matching silk Pjs. We watched a movie and then just hung out and played neopets. I needed to just rest.
Saturday I didn’t see Adam till later that day. I did get my program almost finished (arena found some minor glitches) and had started writing my economics paper on The Choice: A fable of Free Trade and Protectionism. I finished the whole section on free trade on Saturday. I even discussed certain biases that the author conveyed when writing this book. It’s not a balanced view of both. Although protectionism isn’t good (look at Cuba) I’m sure it has its strong points too and those should have been shown more. Saturday we went to see The Stepford Wives. Oh man that movie is a riot. Its much funnier than the previews show it out to be. I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. We also saw some people we hadn’t seen in a long time. It was good to see them again. I also got to see GYPSIES. I love seeing what they have to wear. They always have the cuties clothes on (because they never pay for a damn thing). Saturday they had a theme going on with aqua and white. I don’t know why I get excited when I see them. They always have such nice hair and nice clothes and shoes but oh so much makeup (probably to cover up the deformities from inbreeding). I even talked to one in the bathroom. We basically talked about how disgusting all the bathrooms where in the movie theater. Then we went to our favorite pizza place and got something to eat. Then we went to read some mangas. We finished one book and then left. Played some neopets and then went home.
Sunday I basically spent it writing my paper. My dad went to Chicago for business. He got his cell phone and tech set so he can get started on his new job. I should have let my dad borrow my camera so he could have taken some pictures of Chicago. Oh well. Hopefully now that he has this job we will be able to go to Puerto Rico for Christmas instead of NYC. But damn I want to go to Puerto Rico now. Hector went :( but I’m stuck on the mainland. Oh well things could be worst.
