everyone has to be somewhere; I am here.
So yesterday, my grandmother dragged me along to her chiropractor appointment so that afterward, she could go pick Dan up and bring us to the movies like little kids. Seeing him again was amazing, though. Because it had been awhile since I'd been able to just enjoy being close to him, it was all I wanted. But my grandma was waiting in the car, so we had to go. We went to see American Wedding, and enjoyed it. It was really funny. Then we ate dinner and walked around the mall.
I saw Chris K's younger brother, Greg, which was funny because I almost didn't expect him to recognize me, and when he did, we had a little chat. First he was in the food court, and then he was in Hot Topic, which is where we ran into Jay B, with a girl, who asked if Dan was my "guy friend" and said it was about time I finally found someone. Which I think meant he was happy for me, but who knows, honestly. He seemed a little strange, but maybe that's just what he's turned into. He's not in school, he's installing AC and heating systems for a living.
Dan bought me earrings at Hot Topic, because I liked them and they were cool. He's quite possibly the best boyfriend ever. I called Jess Wilson after Jay and I went our separate ways away from the store to tell her that I'd seen him, and blah blah blah. Then Dan and I walked around the mall more until his mom could come pick us up and bring us to her house for TV night.
By the time we got to sex, it was amazing because we wanted it so bad. This is how it's going to be every weekend, and I know it. Four or so days without each other, and we're going to be going crazy.
He talked to me about maybe working 6 PM - 3 AM shifts, which I originally thought I'd mind, but he said it would give him weekends off, and that makes a lot of sense, because then we can spend them together. So I said to go for it if it was an option for him, and he's considering it.
More on that, and the rest of my life, later. I have to get ready to work my 1 - 10 shift at the fabulous Home Depot.
