Denny's, Downtown
Well, we got off campus, only to find ourselves at Denny's at the other side of the tracks. Lindsay was eating her French Slam, Christen was eating her omlete, Val and Matt were being a couple. When lo and behold, two strange high school dropouts, one with a mouth like Jay, the other definitely not Silent enough to be Bob, seat themselves at the table next to us. They decided they were going to be suave and hit on us. Bob (for lack of real name) starts with the classic pick up line...."Look it's snowing." Needless to say Christen was not impressed and Lindsay was indulged in her food. So Jay, worked up all the charm he had, and asked for our phone numbers. Christen said she was amish and had no phone. Lindsay decided to say she had a boyfriend (which she did at the time). They continued with "Do you want to take a ride in my buggy?"....some boys just don't know when to stop. We got up and left, Jay and Bob followed. But they left us alone when Matt and other people in the room began threatening them. They didn't take very well to the finger either.
