The most important factor before considering styling one's eyebrows is to make sure that your eyebrow shade matches that of your hair, or a lighter shade. If you are originally dark haired but have dyed your hair blonde your eyebrows will completely miss-match, and vice-versa. The ideal thing to do if you fall into this category is to regulate your eyebrow shade as necessary either by toning it down or bringing the shade up to a lighter tone. Caring for your eyebrows is easy once you have gotten the prefect shape for your face and eyes. If you have over-plucked in the past, the only way you will be able to achieve prefect eyebrows is to leave them alone and let them grow back out. There are products on the market that will help grow your eyebrows back, so look into that as well if you have problems with them growing back due to over-plucking them. Eyebrows are a natural frame for the eyes and should be in proportion to the face. If you find your eyebrows are starting to thin use a brow color to fill them in using feather strokes, do not draw on lines in place of eyebrows. 3. Brows should be the same color as your hair or a shade lighter. 4. Your brow should start right above the inner corner of your eye. To determine where the eyebrow should start place a pencil against the nostril and line it up with the inner corner of your eye. Your eyebrow should end at a diagonal with the outer corner of your eye. To determine this, place a pencil at the side of your nose ending at the outer corner of your eye. The eyebrow should arch above the outer rim of the iris. Makeup tricks For the day makeup, you don't need to point out the eyebrows. You may comb them with a small brush and shape them by using a clear gel. If you still want to choose an elaborated makeup, you can choose a crayon or a makeup with a hue that matches the eyebrows and apply it from inside out, over the hair strings, without crossing the contour. Do not forget to remove it before going to bed. Remember: • Thin eyebrows age. Choose the shape of your eyebrows according to your face contour, but keep a medium width. • The color of your hair and the color of your eyebrows must be in perfect harmony. When you dye your hair, you have to change the hue of your eyebrows too, but be careful. • For it to grab the strings well, the tweezers must have thin edges, well finished.
