Prizoner Of Azerbaijan
Work is really cool. I do a lot of creative stuff, and its quite stimulating... to my mind you perv.
I got Lenny Kravitz's new CD. Have to review it. Best part - I get to keep the disc after the review's done. Woohoo! And in case you wanted to know, Lenny's lost it. One okay-ish song on a 13 track LP.
Went for the Press Show of the new Harry Potter movie. The movie's awesome. I gave it a really cool review. I could get used to these press shows. Everything's so cushy. Lovely seats. So much leg room. No smelly people. Some of these press women are quite cute. They hand out press releases, a synopsis of the movie, hi-definiton stills... its all good.
Was at Provogue Lounge a few days back, to cover an event. A whole bunch of models and other beautiful people were there. The event was featured in Page 3 of a lot of newspapers. It wasn't as interesting as it looked. In fact, it was quite dull, and overcrowded. I'd had a long day at office... I left at 9!... and got there at around 10. The invitation said the show would start at 9, but it started at around eleven thirty. I was with a friend of mine from my old office, and we were getting bored, so we parked ourselves at the bar and made the best of free liquor. I was really hungry so I kept shamelessly stopping the waiters passing by, and filled my empty stomach with chicken and prawns. By the way, Provogue Lounge mostly sucks, and apparently Lush nearby is way better.
I was given an MP3 player for a few days, to review. The Benq Joybee 110. Its really sad, and very expensive. Gave it a crap ass review. Nine thousand five hundred bucks for 128 MB! ... yeah right.
Polly Esther's last night. It was deserted. But the DJ played the most awesome music i've heard at any disc, ever, I'm biased here by the fact that he played Yellow! Then I requested him to play "With Or Without You", and he did. I was gonna request him to play Wonderwall, but he read my mind. No amount of alchohol could get me that high. My achy-breaky heart did a few flips.
Please start buying JAM magazine. There's a lot more of my written stuff there. I'm in charge of the rock page, and in the coming issue i've featured five alternative bands that need more airtime, and listeners in India. Smile Empty Soul, Trapt, Three Days Grace, Seether and Jet. It was a tough choice to get just five; my original plan was to feature ten, but there isn't enough space.
Some people have it all. And some are happy with enough.
Song: Let You Down - Three Days Grace
Poetry In Static Come down You may be full of fear But you'll be safe here When you finally trust me Finally believe in me.
Thought I WON'T let you down... everything's not in the song.
Till next time... Self Titled
