Oh yes, and the interview . . .
Woohoooo!!!!!!! It was a fabulous interview. They had narrowed it down to four of us from 25, which is good. Then, the four interviews took place this morning. I 'knew' during the interview that I was really connecting with this guy, who just so happens to be the founder and president of the company. We spoke the same language. In fact, he stole some of my best lines. You know, we were talking animatedly about what companies need to do to succeed, eyes locked together, nodding together and adding to eachother's thoughts - "Yes, yes, so right! And how about this . . . ", etc. etc. etc.
There was one interview scheduled after mine. It ended at noon. At 12:20 I got a call from the agency telling me they 'loved' me and wanted me in for the second interview with the marketing director who will unfortunately be out of town until next Thursday. So . . . yay! Just a bummer it will be one more week. However, it looks as though it is going to be a great paying job.
It's not in the bag yet but pretty darn close. If I don't get it . . . well I will have missed by one and done pretty well and I'm sure that looks great to the agency that sent me so I'm sure they will get me going somewhere!
