Erin and I had a good day yesterday. We are just waking up today. I think my coffee just got done! Yesterday, Erin got the cats harnesses and leashes. I've had mixed feelings about these because I thought once the cats had a taste of outdoors, they might always want to get out. However, it turned out to be a wonderful thing! We took them out next to my apartment. On the end of the building, it's not mowed and there are weeds, grass clippings, branches, weeds and wildflowers. Lenny was a bit tentative but Squiggy was playful and adventurous. He was so happy he coudldn't keep from purring. Lenny got used to it and I knew he enjoyed it though he never lost his cautious attitude. When we brought them in, they did not try to get back out. They were very loving and content. Squiggy has not stopped purring. He's in heaven! We went to all kinds of dollar stores and the pet store, and finally found what we wanted for the price we wanted to pay at Meijers. At Petco, we saw a pet stroller. It's like a baby stroller but it has mesh all around it. I'd love to have one! I would take those cats all over the place. We got minute steaks with pepper seasoning and had a nice dinner with corn on the cob and baked potatoes. Today we are having chicken fajitas. I got some strawberries too; buy one package, get one free. We watched the second Lord of the Rings movie last night. I can't wait to see the third one but will have to wait for two weeks until Erin is here again. It's nice she can bring the DVD's. I saw a show about Johnny Depp. There is going to be a sequel to 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. I'm looking forward to seeing that. He's doing a re-make of 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory'. Now I think Johnny Depp is great, but I don't see how they can top the version starring Gene Wilder. I saw the opening of that movie in Illinois from the balcony of the theatre, and then went to the producers' home afterwards for a party. I was just a kid. My sister's husband was at that time an executive for Quaker Oats. They made the Willy Wonka candy bars and stuff. After we are done with the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I want to watch all of Johnny Depp's movies. There was a show about Brad Pitt too. Although I respect him, he just doesn't do anything for me. He's far too normal. I like Johnny Depp because he steps to his own music. He's an individual and very true to himself. It's rainy and cool today. I can feel it in my body due to the arthritis.
