UW tuition increase for 2004-2005 school year
In a Laramie Boomerang article, published March 27th, 2004, University of Wyoming tuition will increase by 3 %. President of Budget and Planning, Phillip Harris, said the increase in necessary for the natural economic inflation as measured by the Wyoming Cost of Living Index.

I agree that Wyoming needs funding to update the aging campus. But I also think that if we are increasing the tuition, we should also increase financial aid. Most universities, such as the University of Wisconsin, increases their financial aid given when an increase of tuition occurs. I have heard nothing about an increase in financial aid!
