It's just a typical Thursday around here. I didn't have to work today, so I am going to try to be lazy AND get as much done around here as humanly possible. Think I can pull it off? Me either. But I have soaked a load of dishes with the intention of actually washing them and getting them put away. I am really good at that... just leaving the dishes in the sink to soak. And I've done a load of laundry. It'll be really sweet to have the boys all packed up and ready to go for the weekend this evening, so that there are no last minute holdups.
This weekend we are going to see The Butterfly Effect, or, as the hubby puts it, 'that movie with the fat goth and that guy who fucks Demi Moore.' I think we saw the trailer for it back when we went to see The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and both immediately agreed we had to see it. Michael is rarely into movies that I like as well, so this should be interesting. I'm also interested in seeing Hollywood's take on Chaos theory. But then again, I like most all movies anyhow, and would surely still be attending one movie per week, either solo or with family members, could I afford it.
Speaking of movies, I tried to get Michael to watch Cabin Fever with me last night. He said it was lame. I figured he'd say as much, but it still entertained ME, so it's all good. After all, I wanted to see it when it came out and never got to. I wasn't disappointed, but some of you may be. I guess it all depends on what you like...I'd recommend it to cheesy movie fans, but am not actually urging anyone to go out and rent it.
I am ready to go see what's on tv and take a nap. A nice, long nap, because tomorrow is going to be BUSY.
