Umuulan na naman...
I can't download updates for my Windows XP Professional, because apparently, Microsoft can detect pirated software. Tae. Why didn't I know about this? Now I have to reformat, AGAIN, and use my original XP Home, which I really don't like. What a hassle.
And speaking of hassles, the school had a fire drill earlier today. I had just plugged in my laptop and connected the LAN cable and mouse, when suddenly all these security guards came rushing to the front entrance of the Gokongwei building. I just went on with my work, NR, until these guys who looked like they were from the Discipline Office shooed us away. Minamadali pa kami. I mean, come on, what do they want me to do - leave my laptop in the lobby? (I am a slave to my laptop. Harrrrr.) Back in high school, fire drills were announced. I totally get why it's not that way here (because, after all, we aren't warned beforehand about real fires), but...basta. Hassle lang talaga. Hehehe.
Isa pang hassle! Ang lakas ng ulan ngayon! Meaning our dorm's flooded outside, and goodbye to my suede shoes. Yes, a perfect day for wearing SUEDE shoes. Tae, ang convenient.
Today I was supposed to work on the screen designs for our thesis, and I just don't have any creativity uh...today. The main page sucks major ass. (In Sia's words, "Ano ba! Parang hindi ka taga-IST!") Waaaaah, how do I make this color scheme (which was specified by the "company") work? Because mehn...it's fugly. (Sorry, Lyn.) Gray = #999999 (background) Red = #FF0033 (text) Yellow = #FFCC00 (lighting or other effects for text)
Anyway, change topic ulit. Hehehe. I miss eating real food. And by "real", I mean home-cooked food that Ate Choy used to make. It's really too bad that she's in Cebu already, and that she's staying there for good. And we've had her since I was two years old. I miss the way she cooks our chicken with pineapple!!! :(
I'm hungry.
