I realized that it's been quite a while since I did any updating on this, so I figured I'd sit down and write a little. {lus, this is a way for me to feel productive while putting off my homework ;)
Today was an open house day, so I got to work a little. I was scheduled for an hour and a half, but Mary Jane (who heads the admissions office) asked me to do some paperwork after all the prospectives had left. I think she likes me :) She said she's going to get a hold of me on Thursday to do some more work for her. I don't reeally mind at all... I need the money!
Not a whole lot has been going on, though. I've been keeping busy with homework, and listening to all the drama unfold around me. My own, and my friends. Seems like this month is going to be one of many break-ups and new relationships... who needs tv when you've got a live soap opera in your own backyard?
There's only a few more days of classes before Thanksgiving break starts, and I'm pretty exciting. It'll be nice to have a long weekend, even though I'll probably be spending it working. Hopefully, though, I'll be able to coordinate my work schedule around some of my friends', and that I'll be able to see them next week. Niki and I have been trying to get together lately, but we always work opposite scheduoles, and can never seem to line things up. Maybe almost a whole week home will give us a chance to get together.
Anyways, I should get working on my homework. Right now I'm researching forced sterilizations on Native Americans in the 1970's... It's pretty interesting stuff.
