Current music:Pixies - Oh My Golly!

    Every beginning has an end.
I saw Matrix Revolutions yesterday! Oh my god! So awesome! Go see it NOW! 1O OUT OF 10! 2ND BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR! Brandon drove in "bullet time" the whole way home.

Oh yeah, and here's a random review I did for the Cowbow Bebop movie for Japanese class.

    Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (2001)
    Director: ShinichirĂ´ Watanabe, Hiroyuki Okiura

This movie is based on the cult classic Japanese anime series of the same name. I have loved the series ever since it came to America in 1998, and because there were only 26 episodes, I was very surprised and delighted to find out there would be a full-length motion picture coming out years after the series ended. The movie came out in theatres in America earlier this year, and the DVD followed. Like the series, I loved this movie.
Also like the series, it takes place on Mars circa 2070. The story revolves around a group of four bounty hunters (or cowboys): the main character (and the leader of the group) Spike Spiegel, Jet, Faye Valentine, and a 14-year old girl computer hacker named Edward. They fly around Mars and outer space in their ship, the Bebop, in search of adventure. It’s Halloween and a terrorist called Vincent has plans to unleash a deadly virus that spreads until nothing is left alive. The bounty for capturing Vincent is the largest of all time, so Spike and company are more than happy to stop him.
This movie has the perfect blend of action, humor, and plot to keep you wanting more. I would not only recommend this movie to fans of the series and of anime in general, but for anyone who enjoys good movies.

But seriously, see Matrix Revolutions NOW!

    Latas, Cory
