Dear Journal,
I'm terribly sorry I haven't written in awhile, but the joy and excitement of being back at Hogwarts has definitely taken over me so much that I have had no time to write you. I have many classes with James .. it's delightful! I realized I do fancy him a bit...
My schedule is very interesting, but no time to fill you in now. I'm taking Divination! Professor Lepkins is very cool. But some of her predictions are strange. I know that she's not a phony, however, because she predicted last year who would win the Quidditch World Cup and by how much! I was extremely amazed.
Guess what? James is seeker again this year and I watch him practice everyday. Oh he is so wonderful! Do you think a pure-blood, talented guy would ever fancy a Muggle-born, boring girl like me?
I'll write more later about school. I need to write an essay for potions. Professor Eckwart grades by curve. Severus always gets better grades than the rest of the class. He'll ruin the curve.
