Y'know, I should be sick right now. It's a miracle I'm not. Mahalo e Ke Akua. It's been a hectic last week and a half with finals, negotiating a contract with the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and the newest addition to the Kauanoe family, my sister's new born daughter, Tehani.
Yesterday, I completed my third final exam and have two more. One tomorrow and one on Friday. Then, I fly out on Tuesday to spend a week for Christmas with my parents. I can't wait. I have to come back rather early though, unlike last year when I stayed for three weeks.
I have the Native American Moot Court competition to prepare for and that means writing a brief with my partner. The brief is due January 4 and then we fly out to competition a month later. It's great being on a fully-funded moot court team. That means we don't have to do any fundraising at all.
