Feels like a century since I last posted a Blurt; 3 months according to my previous entry. Mostly, I can blame Plurk since it lets me 'quick-blurt'. But mostly it's 'cause there hasn't been much going on over at my side of the fence.
Couple projects for SM, though. Mainly sub-coned as the lights and/or sound system for pyrotecnic shows by Platinum Fireworks. Basically we (read as mainly my dad) are showing SM what can be done with fireoworks beyond the ususal firing to music. We actually have one project that dares to really push the bar.
Also finished a new project with Glenn. This time he needed a video for the new Multi-Purpose Attack Craft (MPAC) they just handed over to the Philippine Navy last Navy Day. It's the fastest sea vessel I've been on, and subsequently, needed to hold on to. Got to work with another video team for that project; mostly giving them the task of taking alternate shots - one of which, from a chase Helicopter supplied by the Navy.
New tech this time around is a new PC; effectively an upgrade to my editing PC. This new CPU is a Dual-Core with Win XP Home and is ideally meant to run a more advanced video editing program... as soon as we aqcuire said software. It can't completely replace my current PC since the new PC doesn't have a confirmed capability to use one of the old PC's hardware-chips.
And that about covers most of it.
