tanha tha wo ek lamha, jhijhak ke jo kahin chala
na jaane kaun si dariyaaon mein bah ke kahin chala
abhi bhi hai nigahon mein, halki si chubhan uski
teri yaadon ne laaye kuch jo ansoo, wo jhatak chala

chala wo sar jhukaye aasmaanon mein ghtaon mein
kabhi khush ho gaya, aur kabhi mayoos ho chala
teri ummeed ke saaye mein jaane kab kahan nikla
kabhi kuch khojne nikla, kabhi yoon hi bhatak chala
