    Investigating.
I have arrived in Minas Tirith. I changed horses several times to be able to keep going, and though I am exhausted, I have work to do. Lord Haldir -- who is apparently in charge around here? -- has been so kind as to accept my offer of my services and has put the Gondor SVU at my disposal. They and I, along with two of my own Imladris Guard who I am surprised to find in Gondor, Maglor and Túrin, are investigating. Lord Celeborn has taken charge of the CSI unit and Lady Galadriel has been seeing to the emotional needs of a traumatized populace. It is nice to see them again, but I do wish it had been under better circumstances.

Elladan is not here yet, although I'm told he and Faramir will be arriving soon. The poor lad! I don't know what to say to him. I wish I could do something for him, but all I can do is help to find his wife's killer.

I have not seen Estel yet, which is odd. I've been informed that he is busy with Lady Aredhel. I'm quite surprised that she and her family have returned from Mandos. It will be good to renew our acquantaince. I knew her quite well before the fall of Gondolin, as I served her brother Turgon. I would suspect her bastard husband of this murder, but Eöl is apparently harmless while on his meds. Apparently. I'll keep an eye on him.

I did meet the Lady Lothíriel when I went to find Estel in his rooms. She was weeping on the floor, the poor lass. It seems that she blames herself for Lady Lúthien's tragic murder. She thinks that if she had been less careless with the letters Lúthien sent to Estel and if she had allowed Lúthien to talk to Estel on the phone instead of being selfish and wanting to keep him to herself then Lúthien would still be alive. I tried to console her, but it was for naught. She finally fell asleep, exhausted from her weeping, and I carried her back to her rooms and tucked her in. Poor girl.

I'm still getting a feel for the crime, interviewing everyone, and consulting with the CSI people. Hopefully, we can discover the perpetrator of this foul deed before he strikes again.
