Hey cutie patooties! Nikki is here to rejunvenate your wonderfully miserable day in putrid sunny south florida! See Rachel, I'm finally writing my first entry after only signing up for this account about hmm.. three weeks ago. tee hee hee. Anyhoo, I'm officially on a diet. And I'm going to lose all this weight DAMNIT and none of you people are going to stop me. I don't care if you keep saying "blah blah blah.. you don't need to lose any weight...blah blah blah you're crazy." Well screw all of you because I'm going to be thinner when I commence my senior year with the Benjamin pricks! Mu hahaha. Here is what my diet will consist of until I reach my goal weight of.. (hehehe not telling):
* Eating less than 1200 calories a day. Okay, so you're probably thinking there's no way in hell to do this because this is the equivalent of starving yourself, but you're WRONG! You can definitely eat less than 1200 calories a day and feel completely satisfied. It takes a little work to find foods that are low caloried simply because there are so many isles in the supermarkets that have abundant amounts of high calorie/ high fat/ high suger foods (no wonder 1 out of every 2 is overweight in this country) pfft. However, if you're really determined, have strong will power, and ignore that little devilish voice that haunts you while you see someone gorge a Krispe Kreme doughnut (big sigh), just ignore it.... :(
* Less than 12-13 grams of fat per day. Just buy things that are either low fat or fat free. Sure they taste like absolute cow dung, but hey.. life's a beach!
* Excercising atleast 5 times a week for 20-30 minutes. The best bet is to go to a gym and use one of those jogging/skiing machines. Those are great and lots of fun, especially the ones where you can move the handles. You can burn something in the neighborhood of 330 calories in 30 minutes. That's pretty sweet. Bring a cd player or something that can entertain you because then the time will go by fast. Swimming is also an excellent way of burning those calories. I try to go swimming atleast 2-3 times a week for 4-5 hours. That really shouldn't be a problem for most floridians since it feels like infernoland once you take your first step out the door.
And that's it my dears. If you do that I guarantee you will lose a lot of weight within the first month. I did this same diet last summer and lost 35 pounds in less than two months. The hard part is maintaining the weight. Unfortunately I gained back about 15-20 pounds.. (big.. big.. sigh).
Okay, enough of that crap.. now on to my summer. The hell of physics is finally done and ended the journey with a high B+ in the class. I'm pretty happy with that even though I wanted an A-, but hey, I'm not complaining! After physics I stayed with my mum for about a week or so. We ate chicken..shopped..swam.. and visited nana. Yup, that's my eventful week.
Hmmm well so much for rejuvenating your day! So far I've probably bored you with irrelvant crap of my summer and annoyed you with my inevitable complaints! But now I shall really talk about important issues. Sunday I am leaving for my college trip! dun dun dun.. Ahn yes, colleges. Never thought I'd be concentrating on such an aspect, but here I am just like every other future senior out there. I recieved a postcard from rachi's favorite college. She knows how I loved that particular language building so she sent me a postcard of it! I really wanted to see what the postcard said.. but I didn't quite know what it said and I think we all know what I'm talking about here. lol I could figure out a few words and sentences though! Anyhoo, I'm going to visit my Syracuse :-), Indiana University-Bloomington, and Miami University Ohio. Luckily the weather in these areas are in the 70's and 80's with cool nights. Anything is an improvement to Florida! I hate Florida!!! Arrrrgg. But yeah I'll be leaving Sunday and returning on Monday. So if I don't talk to you guys before then, I shall hopefully see and talk to you soon! Much Love.
