ok there are some laws that I totally DON'T understand..

for example... I love cats... anyone who knows me knows that I love cats and that I've wanted to get a huge predator cat for the longest time... so explain this to me....

why the FUCK is it perfectly legal to shoot a bocat, coyote, racoon or a fox (all of which I would love to have as pets) and permantently extinguish their life for fur (because it would be discusting to eat one) so that they would never be seen again? because if that's legal then what's the difference between killing them, or keeeping them as a permanant pet? the only difference would be that if it were a pet, it wouldn't be dead! why the fuck can't you do that? why should it matter if you kill it or not, so long as you get you limit and take it out of the wild? Why is it required that you MUST kill the animal?! I can do so much more with a live bobcat then a dead one.... that makes me quite angry...

I could understand the arguement that "oh, it would be human-fied and couldn't be released back into the wild..." well if you're killing it, do you expect it to still be able to fend for itself in the wild? NO!

I can also understand the "oh well if it escapes then (option a) people will be afraid of it and it will be nice to them and they won't know how to react..." or (option b)"what about if it gets scared and attacks?"

well dogs that get loose can attack... and dogs get loose all of the time... at least with abobcat there would be no question as to who it belonged to... they're the same size as a dog and their life expectancy is only 12 years at the most... the average age of death is 7-8 years. That means if I could have one as a pet then it would actually be less of a commitment then having a house cat or a dog. WTF? if you freaking agree with me then tell me so and even if you don't, still tell me so that then I'll know where people stand....
