THE CROCODILE HUNTER IS DEAD


Late in the afternoon, 4th September 2006, Steve "The Crocodile Hunter" Irwin was fatally pierced in the heart by the barb of a large Bull Stingray.

Steve Irwin was best known for his vibrant personality which he displayed on his TV Series "The Crocodile Hunter".

Those who watched the series, visited his Zoo or saw his movie, are shocked and saddened by the loss. Steve Irwin may have been "a bit of a hero", but he was a good guy at heart and cared deeply for wildlife all over the world, a passion that was displayed vehemently on his TV program and everyday life. The world is now a lesser place now that The Crocodile Hunter is no longer with us.
