yikes
yesterday, my mom took my grandmother to a new place to stay [sort of like a nursing home]. she had been getting better and it was one more step to actually going home. however, my grandmother fell in the bathroom and consequently broke her hip so now she is in the hospital again.
this sucks so much. she had been regaining strength and now she has to wait a long time for her hip to heal. at 80 years old that isnt exactly instant. so now she has to be in the hospital again for who knows how long, maybe getting depressed again. it's so frustrating. it's like, so close yet so far away.
i can't imagine how much that would hurt.. breaking your hip.
