The four gospels: John, Paul, George, and Ringo
Well, this weekend has been okay, more or less. Starting with my guitar lesson yesterday...After which I went to Midtown for a while, bought a CD of a guy named Ravi Shankar...An Indian composer and sitar player...I think he's supposed to be like the foremost promoter of East Indian music in Western Culture. He has the same b-day as me; I thought that was pretty qeule. Anyway, at the mall, I ate some food, then went to A & B Sound, where I bought a CD (actually, it's a two-disc album) of George Harrison, called All Things Must Pass. It's pretty good...I like "Art of Dying" and some of the other songs on it. Today is Halloween, of course...It is also, curiously, my dog's b-day. Today, I went to church in the morning...Hung around my house for a while...Then I went to youth group...That was pretty fun. We were supposed to dress up, sort of, so after I got to the church we found some stuff in the costume closet and I ended up being a "lumberjack", |o|...All I really did was wear my red plad shirt, some weird Roman soldier's helmet that sorta looked like a lumberjack hat when I wore it backwards, and I made an axe out of a sheperd's cane thingy and some paper. Anyway, I had some fun at youth group, I guess.
