Fuddle duddle, you fuddy duddy
I just got back from the retreat with my youth group at Christopher Lake, which took place between Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. It was pretty fun. We slept in the rooms on the second floor of the lodge...My room was with Stephen and David. The first night we stayed up really late, and the girls did too, and we kept writing notes under the crack of our door. Then I was tired in the morning. It's interesting hanging out with all of these people I haven't really seen for more than a year, since I moved to our high school youth group. David, Eva, Andrew, Logan, Rachel, and such. When I last saw them (excluding our previous two youth meetings this year), I wasn't playing guitar. I took it to the lake like I did last month. It was recieved pretty well, I guess. I figured out the chords to the camp songs we sang at our service this morning, so I was like their music section basically. A couple of inside jokes cropped up several times in the course of time, including "Austria!" and "Bown chikka wow wown!" (and the image from Stephen's book...). I leave you with this advice: Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk.
