Productivity returns!
Doing laundry outside the apt is a huge chore. On campus it was better still being able to just walk down, throw them in, skate around a little bit then come back. But here it requires driving to the laundramat, having loads of spare change on hand (they don't take tokens ^_^""). Not only that, but the cost is much higher -- $2.25 a load! Thats 1.25 for washer plus another $1 for drying. Such a rip off. There's a place down at the corner of Tuskawilla i'll check out next time. The only advantage is that no one is around there, so i can throw them in and come back later. Checked out cell phones -- I WILL get one before the end of august; and checked out some desks. I swear with my room arrangement there is nothing that will work! This is the most awkwardly shaped room i've ever been in by far -_-; Ended up getting some running shoes and stopping in borders for a bday present for Marilyn.
After RO lagged me to death about 10 times, Kome and I decided to hang out and watch a movie. But since she is minus one dvd player we ended up hanging out and watching WB sitcoms instead^^" Still fun, and now she gets to go up to the northeast to 'suffer' up there as I did (translation: with family).
There doesn't seem to be anywhere closeby to jog. Without going all the way down to Blanchard, Lily or other parks i'm sort of lanlocked. I haven't checked out Red Bug Lake Park yet as it's usually crawling with Soccer crowds. If i keep jogging nightly i'm sure i'll find something!
... and this saturday should be fun O:-)
