yesterday, i had an "i've always depended on the kindness of strangers" moment. my car adamantly refused to drive up the hill in the driveway, and this guy just appeared out of nowhere and offered to push it up the hill for me. two problems with this:
1. i am not good at accepting help from strangers. it makes me weird.
2. i sincerely believed that there was no way the damn thing was going to go up the hill.
anyway, i must have looked really pathetic because the dude insisted on pushing my car up the hill anyway, and after three tries, finally got it there. i was a little late for class but i mean, we spent half an hour on failed attempts and strategizing, so if you think about it, it's really kind of miraculous i didn't miss the whole damn class.
so far i'm one of the only people on my friends list. i'd be lying if i said this wasn't a little bit sad.
this is kind of a stupid first entry but i didn't really have anything else to say at the moment. i guess i'll leave this public, but i'm planning on making the rest of this friends only.
