So the joke of "Jon bangs hookers" is never not funny. I asked Matt what he wanted for his birthday, and he said "same thing as last year." Me: refresh my memory. McB: a hooker. Me: I'll see if James is available.
Today it was between me and Lynn--"let's see what Jon can hook you up with" hahahahaha. Whew. I guess when you think about it, that's kinda gross, considering Jon's like my father figure at work. So is Roy, come to think of it, and they are both perverted as all get out.
So Matt and I decided, that since his new job doesn't start for a week, and that coincides with my vacation next week, we're going to elope to Vegas. On the condition that he is allowed to drink heavily and I am allowed to have Jackson on the side and never consummate our marriage. Fine. But really, he said, he just wants half my assets, cos I make more money than he does. Hahahahaha. Seriously though, we're taking a road trip to Charlotte, and go to the Concord Mills outlet mall or something...now, what friend of mine who is a male would do that? So sweet, my Matsy is.
We have a lead meeting tomorrow, which could be a) boring b) annoying c) both. Hopefully Dana will let Jackson attend, since he was just promoted! That's my boy.
It is severely cold right now, and so windy...Lynn picked me up so we could carpool to work together today since the roads were bad this morning...when Brian called to ask if I wanted to do that, I was like "absolutely." I liked not having to drive myself--nice. AND we got to leave early, so another plus. I talked to Cori today and she has 15 inches of snow!! And to think, that less than an inch crippled Raleigh on Wednesday, and Princeton has over a foot. Sheesh. Friday night going home, I had flashbacks on 540, like "oh, that .2 of a mile was where I almost peed on myself" ooh, by that sign was where my phone died" "Over there was where scott started singing to me" hahahaha. not really.
Aight, so I'm planning Matsy's b'day surprise for Saturday, must get reservations tomorrow...looks like there will be around 10 peeps there, very excited. I hope Jackson comes--he told Sally he had a lot of fun with us Wed night, so hopefully he can come with us then. He came to see me Friday night at work, I swear he flusters me too much, I get all stupid around him. I told him I was really thankful for him talking to me on the phone before I could get to Scott and that I owed him a hug--he got really sheepish and said he just wanted me safely home. Sigh.
I ordered a book in with the best title-Another Bullshit Night in Suck City. The guys in receiving were all laughing when it came in, and Jackson was like "oh that's Courtney's book!" and they laughed more. I think that's the best title. Ever.
