Let us remember the office workers, the CEOs, The janitors, the waitstaffs, and the CFOs. Let us remember the Fathers, mothers and sons, The daughters and others on their daily runs. Their day started the same, just as the day before, And all things changed, as they rushed for the door. Let us remember the first responders, Who bravely rushed in, Not knowing what to expect, Not saying goodbye to their kin. Four planes changed a day, and thus a life, Always remember to kiss the husband or wife; Don't forget about your children too, They also need an "I Love You." Let us never forget, that Tuesday years ago, When all things changed, that morning so. ********* To those who lost family and friends in the attacks, we still mourn your loss... To those who lost family and friends in defense of freedom, we still also mourn... To those who are still defending freedom, wherever you may be, we thank you... Post a comment in response: |
