Why Pray?

-Just as earthly parents enjoy talking with their child, our Heavenly Father enjoys hearing from you.

-Prayer is communication with God- not just asking for things in a time of need or trouble, but it includes listening, discussion, praise and worship. I personally like to use part of my prayer time just to magnify and glorify the Father for being the awesome God that He is.

-Prayer keeps your relationship with God healthy and helps to build and maintain your faith- so when in time of need, you will be able to stand on firmer ground.

-Prayer is a way of humbling yourself and is the opposite of doing things by yourself. Receiving direction from God is the greatest help you can get.

Just remember this, if all else fails- try prayer, have faith and believe that it truly changes things. God can do more in one minute than you can do in a lifetime.
