Long day
Is it just me or has traffic suddenly gone crazy nowadays. It's too much, I tell you. Even when I send my son to school as early as 6:15am, it's already jammed packed on the roads. I have to get up as early as 5:30am just to be able to make it to his school or else I can forget about ever sending him on time.
Had a FormReader demo this morning at UPM this morning. Met Louis from SDB and we went together. It was a great demo, since the Dean and all the other lecturers were there. It's demos like this one that make the pitching of FormReader great. This lead looks promising. If all goes well, it might look like a great quarter is in store...
I'm also looking into getting a new notebook or PC for myself. The old horse at home has lasted long enough and age is beginning to show on it, though it's never ever failed me... Paying a trip to Low Yat has been quite an eye opener since PCs are so darn cheap nowadays. Prices for a Pentium 4 system start from as low as RM1,500. Notebooks (not Centrino) start from as low as RM3,300 for a decent one... *sigh* it's tough trying to make decisions like these...
Anyway, the DVDs are back! After a hiatus of almost a month due to the strict enforcement, the good old 5's and 9's are being displayed once again. I was really missing my weekly dose of movies but it looks like it's movie time! Bought "Underworld" (9) and few older movies like X-Men2 and even Star Trek:Nemesis. Won't have much time to watch them, though. The next few days will be totally hectic ones with functions almost every night right through till Chinese New Year.
