me: "Fruit dip"
Alec: "With strawberries?"
Jacqui: "Strawberries are fruit..."
Alec: "I don't get it"
Jacqui: *points to each* "Fruit... fruit dip. Fruit... fruit dip"
Alec: "I don't get it!"
Jacqui: "Fruit... fruit dip"
Alec: "Shouldn't fruit dip have chunks of fruit in it?"
me: "Fruit dip, Alec"
Travis: "So? They call cheese dip cheese dip and not tortilla chip dip"
me and Jacqui: "Good point"
me: *pulls out apple*
Alec: "You can have apples with it?"
me: "Alec, what type of food is an apple?"
Alec: "A vegetable. Isn't it? It grows underground"
Jacqui: "No, apples grow on trees"
Travis: "Yeah, apples grow on vines"
me: "He said underground"
Travis: "I know. Just like pumpkins"
and Travis still wonders why he isn't in gifted...
