Firewalls and Filters for Universities SUCK!!!
Well, If anybody hasn't seen the movie Phone Booth yet, and you haven't....cause its not out in theaters yet.. HA!... yeah that's right... I hate AOL.. but since this Baptist University has a son-of-a-shitter firewall... I can't use any "peer to peer" software (Kazaa, Morpheus, etc) because all of the ports that these programs use are blocked by the firewall... not only that but they filter the incoming internet... Yeah I can understand they don't want porn coming in... but when its 2 o'fucking'clock in the morning... and youre sitting there trying to bullshit a research paper for religion on the day its due... and you need online resources because the damn library is closed cause you waited too long... and the sources for some site about a certain religion topic are freakin blocked! because the f-ing stupid shitty N2H2 internet filter thinks that whatever site this is is freakin porn!!! I mean... holy shit... I understand that the Catholic Church has been having some problems with little boys and priests that need to be castrated because they can't control their freakishly high levels of testosterone...but COME ON!!!... N2H2 can blow me... there have been so many non porno sites that have been blocked... so i sent them a nasty email... expressing my deepest affections for their wonderful job of filtering... but anyways, back from that long tangent... so I hate AOL right?... well... ive just recently just fallen in love with some of their chat rooms... because there are some chat rooms where you just click on these things that just keep scrolling... and no its not those "Im underage and hot and sweaty and my vagina's wet for you - click here for my pic" ones... its the ones that when you click on it... it brings up these magical lists... lists with like 30,000 different entries... these entries are things like movies, games, music, programs, software, cracks, virus'... you name it... its there... and yes i've even scrolled past some porn too for you guys or freaky girls out there that... well... just use your imagination... but anyways... all these files are broken up into a bigillion pieces... actually around 60 or 70 for movies... and each piece of the movie file or whatever has a certain number next to it... so you go back into the chat room and type in your chat message box, "/[name of server] send [file #'s]".... say that a certain movie you want on the list of files provided by "Boombaska" server are #'s 5674-6729... you go and type /Boombaska send 5674-6729 ...and thats it... the server will eventually get to your request and email you the files one by one (emails by AOL can hold only 15Mb, hence why so many files) and you download them... and use WinRAR to put them together to form whatever you wanted and whalla... movies stuff on tap!... I have already seen tons of movies that hanvent come out on video... and like I said... we just watched Phone Booth... which hasnt come out yet...and its not horrible quality either... the movie was ok... it held my attention for a reasonable amount of time suprisingly... well im off to Greatland... the Waco Shuper Dhuper Target... bah!... blast... sometimes i wish i was a big fat Scottish guy that smoked an awesome pipe and had one of those waxy long moustaches... then I would say "Bluht dey 'ell !!!" [translated from stupid dumbass sheep-screwing alcoholic lingo to American English: "Bloddy Hell!!" ] to everyone and everthing for every reason... well i leave you all to your ends... and mine also... peace out... .. ... ... yo?.. ..
